Earlier this year, AAK identified a shipment of raw materials that did not meet our quality standards. The raw material was traced to a part of one shipment originating from Southeast Asia. In accordance with established protocols and regulations for these types of events, affected customers and relevant Food Control Authorities were notified. It has further been concluded that the incident occurred during transport by a third-party operator and not while processed at AAK facilities. It involves one incident within a confined space aboard one vessel. Our production has not been affected by the event and has remained uninterrupted.
